Cermaic coating is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s surface, creating a layer of protection that increases both the hardness and self cleaning ability of your paint work, PPF, or vinyl wrap finishes.

Key Benefits of Ceramic Coating
Hydrophic
After a surface is protected with Ceramic Coating, the coating begins to repel water and water splashes slide off more easily. This also means that mud and grime struggles to bond to the surfaces of your vehicle and in turn means when you wash your car, contaminatns can be removied with less effort.
Easy Cleaning
Ceramic Coated vehciles are typically much easier to clean and since it is a permanent bonded surface
finish, you do not need to wax or polish your vehcile as often.
UV Protection
A layer of Ceramic Coating protects your vehicle’s paint work or surface finish from the suns’s ultraviolet
rays, which in turn prolongs the finish and depth of your vehicle color
Scratch Resistance
Ceramic Coated vehicles are more resistant to light scraches caused by typical day – daywearing, dirt build up, and improper washing
As Ceramic Coating creates a chemically resistant surface, it also provides protection against naturally acidic contaminants – provided the contaminants is removed in a timely manner.
Enhanced Finish
Your vehicle can be Cermaic Coated to enhance the exsisting finish, either in a gloss or a matte finish. A high gloss finish offers enhanced reflective properties making even the most refined paint work pop with a supreme clarity. There are Ceramic Coatings designed for matte finishes as well to give an
enhanced, deeper color.
WHAT DOES CERAMIC COATING NOT DO?
There are many benefits with Ceramic Pro Coating your vehicle, however there are many claims and miss-
conceptions that simply are not true. It is important for our customers to understand the limitations of
Ceramic Coating – although it might reduce your risk of each of the following
ELMINATE WATER SPOTTING
The hydrophobic properties of a Ceramic Coating allows water to bead and slid off the vehicles surface; however, it cannot completely eliminate this as some water droplets may remain on the vehicle, creating the opportunity for water-spotting.
ELIMINATE VEHCILE WASHING
A Ceramic Coating does not make your vehicle maintenance-free. Your vehicle does still need to be regulary washed in order to maintain its look. A major benefit of a Ceramic Coated vehicle is that it prevents dirt and water from sticking to the surface, which in turn makes cleaning your vehicle much easier and reduces chances of future paint defects if maintained with proper care.
ELIMINATE SCRATCHES AND SWIRLS
Ceramic Coatings for cars protects the finish by giving a hardened top coat – it is not a full body armour.
While they can help to prevent minor scratches, UV and chemical damage, Ceramic Coatings are still susceptible to more serious surface scuffs and stone chips so it is important not to get this confused with Paint Protection Film.
Swirls are one of the biggest causes of dull paintwork, caused by automatic car washes, or wiping the bodywork in a circular motion with a old microfibre towel. A Ceramic Coating helps you avoid this damage by making it easier to wash your car with less need for contact with the surface.
OUR CERAMIC COATING PROCESS
Step 1
Our customer vehicles start with going through a deep clean process using the best cleaning products to remove all surface dirt & contaminates. After the deep clean process, the vehicle receives a
Clay Bar treatment which helps pull microscopic dirt particles out of the tiny troughs in the vehicles
paintwork allowing the ceramic solution to bond to the surface
Step 2
A Paint Correction process is the most imporant step in a Ceramic Coating installation. Paint
Correction is the process of reducing or removing vehicles surface imperfections in the top layer of
paintwork. This is done using a rotary polishing tool and cutting compounds to refine the paintwork.
Step 3
Using special cleaning agents, the vehicles surfaces are cleaned to remove all oily residuals such as waxes that were used during the Paint Correction process.
Step 4
The Ceramic Coating application begins by applying a nano primer, which helps the coating bond to the surface. After the nano primer has set, Ceramic Pro 9H is put on a microfibre pad and applied evenly to each panels of the vehicle. Any excess high spots is wiped away in a timely manor to prevent hard streaks from forming.
Step 5
Freshly applied Cermaic Coating needs time to properly cure without any external factors being
allowed to effect the solution hardening. All vehciles are required to stay in our controlled enviroment
for 24 hours.

PAINT CORRECTION
At Kars Kustoms, we offer 1-3 stage correction depending on examination in person of vehicle paint or customer uploaded files as needed.
Most car including new cars need paint correction if vehicle paint work when examined in sunlight at different angles while trying to identify any spiderweb pattern or imperfection in paint work needs to be corrected before ceramic coating can be applied for best flawless results .
